Supplemental items

Supplemental items are the extra figures financial data sites list below a financial statement, after the statement itself ends. They include per share figures, , ratios such as the or , alternative profit measures such as , and details taken from the notes, such as or the .

Some come straight from the company's filings, while others are calculated by the data provider using its own definitions. Those calculated figures can differ from what the company reports itself, or from another data site's version of the same measure, so check how a figure is defined before relying on it or comparing it across sources.

They are not part of the statement's arithmetic: nothing in this section adds up to the totals above it.
